Stress Awareness Month

Here are a few things you can incorporate within your working day to reduce stress.

Date: 02/04/19

Yesterday marked the beginning of Stress Awareness Month. Being stressed is a very natural and normal part of being human. When we take pride in what we do, we are bound to get stressed out from time to time - however, the key to doing your very best work involves you being in the right frame of mind to complete that work.

Here are just a few super easy things you can incorporate within your working day to reduce stress:

Reading: Rather than scrolling through your phone in your break time, try bringing your favourite book to work. This could be a Sci-Fi Fantasy, Thriller or even a Self-Development book - escaping for 30 minutes is a great way to reduce stress.

Go outside: Do you spend your break-times stuck indoors? Well what are you waiting for! Get yourself outside, go for a walk, bike ride, jog or even go sit in your local park. Being out in nature is a perfect way to reduce stress, as it’s naturally calming.

Listen: Feeling stuck in your own head? Why not tune into your favourite playlist, or download an audiobook? Having your favourite music playing while you work can help lift your mood and put you on a positive path! Unless of course, your favourite artist is Justin Beiber.

Plan ahead: This tip is super, super easy to do, yet so many of us forget to make lists. By planning your day in advance, you instantly feel calmer, knowing what’s around the corner. Start an organisation diary and tick off your goals and tasks one-by-one and you will start feeling in control of your job/life!

We hope you enjoyed this post, be sure to head to to check out some of our awesome work!
